Established through a joint ministerial declaration signed in Messinia in October 2024, RMCMED brings together governments, research institutions, and tourism bodies from across the Eastern Mediterranean. Its mission: to collect reliable data, develop common methodologies, and support evidence-based policy for sustainable coastal and maritime tourism.
